Despite Global Warming, A Blizzard Of Presidential Candidates

As global warming continues to make snow almost as scarce in Washington as wisdom, we can at least say that the season has produced a blizzard of presidential candidates.

Some of the more conspicuous flakes to pass by our view are, of course, Hillary, who was precipitated into action by Barack, who immediately alienated most of the voting public by saying, with inconceivable ineptitude, that it's time to push the baby boomers aside and give a new generation a chance.

And on the Republican side of the blizzard we find, Senators Edwards and McCain, with Rudolph wondering if he can lead the pack though the cold night of Iraq, along with a few other flakes, such as Mike Huckabee, the new wannabe from Arkansas.

Yet what we also have is nearly two years before the election.

Imagine how much political wind will howl your way between now and then. Our weather advisory is, you might want to don semi-permeable earmuffs.

Fall of 2008 will be about the right time to take them off and see who's saying something you might actually be inspired to vote for.
